Emily Ryan, known by close family and friends as "M", grew up on the outskirts of Union, SC. Emily's first solo performance was in church at the age of 3. At 6-years-old, Emily began playing piano and at the age of 11, the flute. Emily was active in church, middle and high school choral groups as a soloist on numerous occasions and was also involved in school orchestra. In college, Emily participated in the University of South Carolina Women's Choral Ensemble.

Although very modest about her talent, Emily has won several talent competitions. She has performed in hundreds of weddings, festivals, charity and corporate events, at the local, state and national level. She sings a wide array of music covering genres from rock to soul. Her influences include Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, and Stevie Nicks.
Professionally, Emily sang and played flute with the band Bridgewater based out of the Greenville/Anderson, SC area; sang briefly with several other bands; and has performed with bands all over the globe - from SC to India. Since making Myrtle Beach her home 8-years-ago, Emily has been a freelance vocalist, playing a number of venues with amazing musicians including the late Tony Blunt and Bruce Tereo.
Emily believes that music connects the heart and mind to the soul. It creates memories, changes moods; makes a regular night out, an occasion. Emily ultimately loves to share her gift with audiences, because music makes people smile. Emily lives in Myrtle Beach with her husband, Jason and her daughter, her smallest fan, Alexa
